About the Role
You will be supporting adults with down syndrome, learning disabilities, and PICA within a supported living environment. The role includes supporting individuals to access the community, either via public transport or a service user’s vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
• Providing person-centred care in line with individual care plans
• Supporting with personal care
• Medication administration and management
• Promoting independence and daily living skills
• Supporting community activities
• Working effectively as part of a team
Requirements
• Minimum 3 months’ experience in a support worker role
• Flexible, reliable, and caring
• Good communication and listening skills
• Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries
• Manual driving licence preferred
