About Us We are a busy and well-established HGV dealership, representing a leading commercial vehicle brand, providing servicing, maintenance, and repair solutions to a wide range of fleet and transport operators. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a highly organised and professional Service Administrator to support our workshop and service department.
The Role As a Service Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the service department. You will act as the link between customers, service advisors, technicians, and management, ensuring accurate administration and excellent customer service.
This is a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone who thrives under pressure and has strong attention to detail.
Service Administrator Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the service team
- Liaise with customers on the phone
- Respond to customer queries on the phone and email
- Assist with ATF bookings
- Maintaining service records and compliance documentation
Service Administrator Requirements
- Previous experience in a Service Administrator / Service Advisor / Automotive Administration role (HGV experience desirable but not essential)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Good IT skills (experience with Kerridge/Autoline or similar DMS advantageous)
- Ability to work in a busy workshop environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
