Multi-Skilled Engineer

We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our production team. This role focuses on maintaining, fault-finding, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems within a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Details
  • Salary: Starting circa £45,000 - £47,000.

  • Hours: 40 hours per week on a rotating double-day shift pattern.

  • Shifts:

Week 1: Mon-Thu (06:00-14:00), Fri (05:00-12:00)

Week 2: Mon-Thu (14:00-22:00), Fri (12:00-19:00).

  • Overtime: Paid at Time and a Half (Mon-Sat) and Double Time (Sun).

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical issues in commercial and industrial systems.

  • Install electrical systems to 17th/18th edition regulations.

  • Conduct routine maintenance on production machinery, LV systems, and control circuits.

  • Perform root cause analysis to prevent repeat equipment failures.

  • Calibrate equipment, including roll gaps and encoder feedback.

Requirements
  • Essential: Electrical Apprenticeship and previous experience in a manufacturing/production setting.

  • Technical: Knowledge of IEE regulations and ability to read electrical schematics.

  • Desirable: City & Guilds 2360/2382, Inspection & Testing (2391), and PLC/Automation knowledge.

  • General: Valid Driver's License and high safety awareness.
