Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, verify and process Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support claims accurately and within set timescales
- Calculate overpayments and adjust entitlement where required
- Handle changes of circumstances, reconsiderations and appeals
- Liaise with customers, landlords, internal departments and external agencies
- Provide clear, professional advice on benefit entitlement
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with audit and data‑protection requirements
