Key Responsibilities: Delivery of a collaborative Specialist Palliative Care Training Programme in partnership with key stakeholders. Establish and deliver a high-quality external training programme, supporting income generation and service growth. Work alongside our clinical teams to ensure all internal services consistently deliver outstanding standards of patient care. Strengthen external services knowledge and understanding of specialist palliative and end-of-life care. Support compliance with statutory training requirements and regulatory standards. Lead and contribute to clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives. Drive new clinical training initiatives through effective project management. About You: Significant post-registration experience (minimum 35 years) within a Palliative/End of Life Care setting. Proven experience designing, delivering and evaluating clinical training programmes, including supervision and assessment of students and newly qualified staff. Experience contributing to clinical audit, quality improvement initiatives, and supporting regulatory inspections (e.g. CQC). Registered Nurse (Adult) with an active NMC PIN, educated to degree level in Nursing, Health or Education, with a formal Teaching/Assessing qualification (e.g. PGCE or equivalent). Postgraduate qualification in Palliative Care and/or Leadership/Management training (desirable), with Advanced Communication Skills training. Experience delivering income-generating training or working with external training providers, including use of clinical training matrixes or gap analysis tools (desirable). Up-to-date knowledge of national palliative care policy, best practice, infection prevention and control, and health and safety requirements. Excellent clinical, communication and presentation skills, with strong organisational ability and an understanding of the role of fundraising and volunteers within a charitable healthcare setting.
