Crynodeb
The job will provide an individual with the opportunity to gain experience in managing haematology and oncology patients in an outpatient and day unit setting. Whilst also supporting the acute assessment of patients and facilitating their prompt initial management and admission, the post holder will have the opportunity to develop skills and experience in Clinical Haematology. The post would be ideal for acquiring competencies needed towards a national training number in Haematology or Oncology. There will be lots of opportunities to spend time in both haematology and oncology outpatient clinics to gain experience and take part in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures dependant on the candidates level of interest. Previous post holders have successfully gained National Training numbers in Oncology and Haematology.
