St John Boste Catholic Primary School is proud to be part of the Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust, a family of secondary, middle, primary and first schools in Durham, Gateshead, Northumberland and Sunderland. Bishop Wilkinson is the largest catholic education trust in the North East of England, which will have a total of 48 schools. This is an exciting time to join our supportive, and growing team.
We wish to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed individual who will make a significant contribution to the learning and development of our pupils as a classroom teacher.

The successful candidate will:
• Be enthusiastic, dedicated and committed to providing the best education and opportunities for our pupils
• Have excellent subject knowledge, communication skills and be keen to develop and share their own practice
• Be experienced, effective and have a love for teaching
• Be well organised, knowledgeable and skilful in ensuring children make good progress and overcome barriers to learning
• Have strong classroom management skills
• Demonstrate consistently high expectations in all aspects of their work
• Understand the needs of SEND children
