Brand new permanent opportunity to join our client who are a well-established, successful and growing business based in Stonehouse.
If you are experienced with VAT and year end and you are looking to join a small and friendly team within a company that can offer a flexible, friendly and rewarding working environment then this could be the ideal role for you!
You will play a key role in managing the business’s bookkeeping, supporting financial reporting and ensuring VAT returns, year end and day-to-day accounts processes are managed correctly.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements.
- Carry out bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Process invoices, expenses and payments in a timely manner.
- Support with month-end processes and basic reporting.
- Maintain financial systems and ensure records are kept accurate and up to date.
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping including purchase ledger, sales ledger and reconciliations.
- Liaise with external accountants as required.
To apply for this role, you must be experience with VAT returns and year end.
Salary: Very flexible and negotiable depending on experience.
Hours: Part Time 2-3 days per week – this is negotiable along with potential hybrid option for the right candidate
