A progressive and genuinely supportive Harrogate law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Residential Property Conveyancer to take a leading role within its busy and well-regarded conveyancing team. This is a solid opportunity for someone who wants a good-quality caseload, autonomy, and a firm that invests in its’ people and profile locally.
The role
You’ll manage a full and varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages
- Equity release matters
Key responsibilities
- Run your own caseload end-to-end with minimal supervision
- Provide clear, practical advice and excellent client care throughout the transaction
- Draft and review documentation, raise/respond to enquiries, and manage searches
and completion
- Handle the financial aspects of transactions accurately and in line with procedures
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, lenders and other stakeholders
- Ensure files are progressed efficiently and fully compliant with legal/regulatory
standards
- Support business development by promoting the firm’s services and attending
networking events.
About you
You’ll be confident, organised and client-focused, with the ability to keep matters moving and communicate well under pressure. You’ll need:
- A relevant legal/conveyancing qualification (Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer,
CILEx or equivalent experience) with at least 3 years experience handling own
caseload
- The ability to manage a caseload independently, proactively and accurately
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A professional, personable approach with a strong service mindset
- Part time candidates would also be welcomed but ideally 4 days minimum per
week
