Here at Liverpool Football Club, we are looking for Commis Chefs to join our casual culinary team.
As a Casual Commis Chef, you will support the senior chefs in delivering high-quality food across our stadium and event spaces.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the early stages of their chef career who is eager to learn, develop their skills, and gain experience within a fast-paced stadium environment.
What will you be doing?
- Assisting in the preparation and cooking of food to the highest standards.
- Supporting the kitchen team.
- Ensuring all food is prepared in line with recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.
- Maintaining high levels of cleanliness and organisation within your section.
- Following all food safety, allergen, and hygiene procedures at all times.
- Supporting stock rotation and minimising waste in line with company guidelines.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Who are we looking for?
- Some previous experience in a professional kitchen environment (placement, apprenticeship, or similar desirable).
- A basic food hygiene certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Strong team player with a positive, proactive attitude.
- Willingness to learn from senior chefs and take on feedback.
