Situated within the School of Health, Education, Policing and Sciences at University of Staffordshire, the Department of Sport and Sciences has an exciting portfolio of undergraduate, postgraduate and apprenticeship programmes across the disciplines of sport, biomedical and forensic sciences. A strong unit of the Department is our Sport and Exercise Psychology team who lead on our online British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited BSc and MSc Sport and Exercise Psychology degrees.
We have a vacancy for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Psychology. We are seeking a candidate who has the pedagogical expertise and dexterity to help us strengthen our interdisciplinary teaching and research ambitions for delivery on both our on-campus and distance learning awards. Candidates accustomed to using digitally innovative was of delivering to a variety of learners which promote research-informed teaching are especially encouraged.
The Department houses two research centres: The Centre of Health and Development (CHAD), and Centre of Crime Justice and Security (CCJS). Within this community you will have the opportunity to grow academically while working with a team of dedicated professionals. You will get the opportunity to work with like-minded individuals who will support and encourage your career development concerning future research and enterprise ambitions.
