Salary: £60,000- £70,000 per annum

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Contracts Manager - Roofing to oversee the successful delivery of roofing and cladding projects across Cambridge/Essex and london

Working closely with the company Directors, you will take full ownership of contracts from pre-start through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional looking to play a key role within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Company Directors to ensure all project deliverables are achieved

  • Oversee and enforce Health & Safety compliance across all sites

  • Assist in site setup and mobilisation for new projects

  • Ensure works are carried out in line with approved Method Statements and Risk Assessments

  • Conduct regular quality control inspections in accordance with manufacturer specifications and technical drawings

  • Represent the company at client and main contractor meetings

  • Supervise site operatives and subcontractors to maintain quality and productivity

  • Complete and submit accurate weekly reports, surveys, and progress updates

  • Coordinate and manage timely delivery of materials

  • Maintain clear, professional communication between site teams and clients

  • Proactively identify and resolve on-site issues

  • Monitor material usage and carry out stock checks as required

Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience in a Contracts Manager or Site Manager role within roofing or construction

  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and best practice

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

  • Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills

  • Proactive, solution-focused approach

  • Full UK Driving Licence
