1.BACKGROUND The post is for a Clinical Fellow in Paediatric Neurology and is particularly suited to someone hoping to gain more neurology experience prior to entering speciality training and considering some out of programme experience. The post will be based at Leeds Childrens Hospital. 2. OBJECTIVES OF THE POST Inpatient activity The postholder will support the inpatient need of patients under the paediatric neurosciences teams (neurology and neurosurgery). We are a busy tertiary neurosciences unit embedded within a large childrens hospital with a Paediatric Intensive Care Unit ensuring the postholder will gain experience in a wide-range of neurological disorders. The postholder will actively contribute and attend the neuroscience meetings including: neuro-oncology; neuroradiology; histopathology, neurophysiology and neurogenetics meeting.
