GSOC Intelligence Specialist - Eastern Europe
Regional Focus Areas:
The analyst will be required to cover all of EMEA in their day-to-day responsibilities. However, aside from the requirements above, candidates should possess deep regional understanding of:
Eastern Europe:
-10+ years living experience in Russia, Ukraine, Poland, or broader Eastern European region.
-Fluent in Russian and Polish (speaking, reading, writing).
-Expertise in post-Soviet geopolitics, regional security architecture, and cultural context.
We are seeking experienced Intelligence Analysts to join our global security intelligence team, focusing on tactical, operational and strategic intelligence across EMEA. The successful candidate will produce actionable intelligence products that inform decision-making at both operational and strategic levels, utilising advanced analytical methodologies and deep regional expertise to assess risks and threats to personnel, assets, and reputation.
Position Details:
-Position Type: Full-time (business hours Monday to Friday, though some flexibility to work outside of regular business hours based on business needs), hybrid workmodel
-Salary: Around £50,000 annually, depending on experience
-Right to work in the UK required
Core Responsibilities:
-Produce intelligence reports as required by business operations, covering both tactical (immediate threats, operational response) and strategic (long-term trends, forecasting, high-level planning) intelligence requirements.
-Analyse and assess risks and threats to personnel, assets and reputation using structured analytic techniques and all-source intelligence methodologies.
-Perform OSINT to proactively identify and assess threats impacting the client's workforce and business operations, utilising deep regional understanding and third-party intelligence.
-Deliver verbal briefings at short notice to a diverse audience, including on-the-ground security customers in the region as well as senior security management.
-Support crisis response operations collaboratively during high-risk events and under time constraints. This includes real-time monitoring and situational awareness reporting, ensuring seamless handover and information sharing with other analysts.
-Develop and maintain regional subject matter expertise while producing high-quality tactical, operational and strategic intelligence products that directly inform business decisions.
-Build and maintain strong, collaborative partnerships with regional and cross-functional teams to effectively support security objectives.
-Demonstrate ability to prioritize time-sensitive issues, work independently with minimal supervision, and adapt to rapidly changing corporate environments.
-Continuously enhance analytical methodologies, technical capabilities, and regional expertise by engaging in training, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
-Public speaking skills both live and via video call.
Experience Requirements:
-5+ years experience in intelligence analysis, security investigations, government intelligence, or corporate security intelligence.
-Proven experience conducting data analysis and risk and threat assessments.
-Experience with classical intelligence processes and methodologies.
-Experience delivering intelligence to physical security-oriented audiences (such as law enforcement, military, or corporate security).
-Track record of working with senior stakeholders and presenting complex analytical findings.
-Track record of cross-functional teamwork and collaboration, including working effectively across multiple time zones and diverse teams.
Commercial awareness, including excellent client understanding and the ability to scope out bespoke projects.
-Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with fast-paced decision-making capability.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to tailor products for different audiences.
-Experience managing sensitive and confidential information according to established protocols.
-Experience in using AI to optimise and streamline workflows.
Qualifications & Education Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Political Science, International Relations, International Security, Intelligence Studies, or related discipline.
-Postgraduate study preferred in relevant field, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
