Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Counterbalance FLT Operative (Night Shifts) on behalf of a client based in the Llantrisant area.
The Role:
You will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant removal of waste across the site, while maintaining high housekeeping standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Safe removal of waste from the factory areas
Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence
Transporting waste to designated waste management zones using a battery-powered tug vehicle
Waste segregation in line with site procedures
Maintaining high housekeeping standards around bins, cages, and external waste areas
Accepting and directing waste disposal vehicles onto site
Loading waste disposal vehicles safely and efficiently
General housekeeping of external areas including bunds, strainers, plant rooms, perimeter areas, wash bays, and other outside spaces
Completing all required documentation accurately
Equipment Operation:
You will be required to safely operate:
Cardboard and plastic balers
Battery-powered transport tug
Counterbalance Forklift Truck
ET2 Shredder
Wash bay and power washer
Drum crusher
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar waste, production, or manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to work safely and follow procedures
Good attention to detail and strong housekeeping standards
Flexible to work Night shifts.
Pay Rate: £16.28
Shifts: Night shifts/Sunday 11pm to 6am/Monday to Wednesday 9.30pm to 6am/Thursday 9.30pm to 2am.
