An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Orthopaedic / Soft Tissue Surgical Veterinary Surgeon to join a talented team within a busy and well-equipped 24-hour hospital and referral centre in North West London.
This is a standout role for an advanced surgeon ready to take the next step in their clinical career, working within a progressive hospital environment offering a complex and diverse caseload.
The Hospital
This is not a standard first-opinion practice. The hospital functions as a hub and referral centre, providing exposure to a wide range of advanced orthopaedic and soft tissue cases.
You will work alongside an experienced and collaborative surgical team, including:
An additional Orthopaedic / Advanced Soft Tissue Surgeon
Two Soft Tissue Surgeons
Medicine certificate holders
A wider 12-vet clinical team
The hospital is fully equipped with advanced surgical and diagnostic facilities, including:
TPLO kit
Spinal surgery equipment
Arthroscopy
Laparoscopy
Endoscopy
CT and MRI
This role is ideal for a Surgery Certificate holder (or above) looking to take ownership of their caseload, contribute strategically to surgical services, and work within a supportive referral-led setting.
The Role
Full-time position
4 days per week
1 in 6 weekends
Structured rota with a fixed day off to support work-life balance
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional clinical care in both consults and surgery
Manage complex orthopaedic and soft tissue cases
Develop tailored treatment plans with clients
Collaborate closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team
Contribute to clinical development and knowledge-sharing within the wider group

You will be:
A qualified MRCVS
An experienced orthopaedic and/or advanced soft tissue surgeon
Passionate about clinical excellence and patient care
A collaborative team player
Motivated to develop and lead within a referral-led hospital environment
