Crynodeb
You will be an integral part of the Pharmacy team and, with supervision from senior colleagues, contribute professionally to the various sections of the department and provide a clinical pharmacy service to our wards and clinics. You will be able to rotate through clinical pharmacy areas in order to optimise patient benefit from treatment with medicines and ensure the safe, efficacious and cost effective use of medicines. You will work in a large variety of different specialities during your 4 monthly, or 9 monthly rotations, depending upon current stage of the course. Current rotational areas include AMU / Medical village, Emergency Department, Cardiology, Renal, Critical care, MSK (Musculoskeletal), OPM (older persons medicine), Surgery, Womens and children, Oncology / Haematology, Clinical trials and Respiratory. You will be able to undertake risk management and ensures compliance with medicines legislation. We will be accepting applications from Trainee Pharmacists, Newly Qualified Pharmacists, and Pharmacists with backgrounds outside of the Hospital sector.
