E-commerce Manager

Location: Near Hailsham, East Sussex (On-Site)
Full Time, Permanent Job

Senex Recruitment is working with a well-established UK manufacturing and distribution business with ambitious growth plans. Their online division plays a central role in that strategy, and they are now looking to appoint an experienced E-commerce Manager to lead and scale their digital sales operation.

This is a commercially focused, hands-on role for someone who understands how to grow online revenue within a B2B or manufacturing environment.

The E-commerce Manager Job Role
As E-commerce Manager, you will take ownership of the company’s online platform, driving sales performance, optimising the customer journey, and coordinating digital marketing activity across the business.

You will work closely with operations, sales, marketing, IT and customer service teams to ensure a seamless and commercially effective online experience.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver the e-commerce growth strategy
Manage online sales KPIs including conversion rate, AOV, traffic and ROAS
Analyse sales data and customer behaviour to identify growth opportunities
Optimise website performance, UX/UI, navigation and checkout journey
Oversee product listings, pricing structures, bulk tiers and stock visibility
Manage PPC, SEO, email marketing and traffic acquisition campaigns
Improve customer experience across the full order lifecycle
Support new product launches and identify high-value account opportunities
Skills & Experience Required for this E-commerce Manager Job
Essential

Proven experience as an E-commerce Manager or similar digital commerce role
Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and digital marketing strategy
Demonstrable track record of increasing online sales and improving conversion rates
Strong analytical ability with excellent stakeholder coordination skills
Desirable

Experience within manufacturing, industrial supply or B2B e-commerce environments
Familiarity with ERP, CRM and inventory management systems
Understanding of sustainability trends within manufacturing or distribution sectors
Qualifications Required for this E-commerce Manager Job
Degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce or related discipline (preferred)
Relevant digital marketing or e-commerce certifications beneficial
Member or Affiliate member of The Chartered Institute of Marketing,
