Crynodeb

The Senior Data Engineer will play a senior role in the development, maintenance and support of the Business Intelligence Data Platform, including the enterprise Data Warehouse and University-wide dashboards. The post holder will proactively monitor Warehouse and Lakehouse environments, develop robust and validated dashboards, and place user experience at the centre of design and development. They will ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality expectations, supporting operational and strategic decision-making. With a strong drive to deliver data that enables action, the role will help provide a more proactive and high-profile analytics service, shaping the future of the platform and preparing data to support self-service capabilities for super users across the University.

This role is for the majority hybrid working although there is a need to be in Portsmouth 1 day a week or 1 day a month, which can be discussed and agreed sat interview.

The interviews are currently anticipated to be held on week commencing 09 March 2026.
