Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Carpet Cleaning / upholstery Cleaning Technician to join our professional team.
This role involves providing high-quality cleaning services to residential and commercial clients, ensuring their carpets and upholstery are hygienic, fresh, and well-maintained. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating cleaning equipment, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining a professional appearance at all times. (traning provided)
This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the cleaning industry while working in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
• Conduct carpet and upholstery cleaning using specialised equipment and cleaning solutions
• Perform general cleaning duties including vacuuming, pre spraying, agitation, rising and sanitising and not limited to these task.
• Operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety standards
• Keep the machines, equipment and van clean
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and provide exceptional customer service
• Maintain cleanliness of work equipment and ensure all tools are in good working order
• Manage scheduling appointments and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
• Uphold professional appearance and behaviour when representing the company
- Company van and fuel card provided
- 6 days a week (Self- Employed)
Skills
• Valid driving licence with a clean driving record is preferred for ease of travel between sites
• Good command of English, both spoken and written, for clear communication with clients and team members
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
• Excellent communication skills to understand client requirements and explain services clearly
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Organised with good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
• Physical fitness to handle manual tasks such as lifting equipment
