As we continue to build our team in support of our vision to be the world’s best and most trusted mobility company, the Communications Department is excited to announce the opening for an Employee Communications Specialist.
This position is office-based at Enterprise Mobility’s European Headquarters in Egham, Surrey, near London.
The successful candidate will work closely with key internal stakeholders and various departments to develop consistent, integrated content in line with the organisation’s core messaging. This role will provide communications planning and support for various initiatives and events. The individual will also write, edit and produce content for various employee communication channels, such as newsletters, emails, and the internal news app, to inform and drive employee engagement.
Good writing skills, along with strong project management skills will be necessary to juggle priorities and meet tight deadlines. The successful candidate should be comfortable operating as part of a global team with a matrixed organisational structure.

Responsibilities
- Write, edit and proofread various communications for the employee communications team.
- Partner with leadership and operational support teams to align internal communications with overall organisational priorities.
- Support the efforts of different departments and teams by finding ways to get messages about the organisation's various programs/initiatives in front of global team members.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new ideas and content to meet the needs of business partners and the department, while adhering to the standards established in the Enterprise Mobility Stylebook.
- Provide input and contribute to the team’s editorial calendar to ensure the team is producing strategic and engaging content and implementing innovative storytelling approaches for digital channels, including the company news app.
- Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with key internal clients.
- Provide support and help manage tools that measure the effectiveness of our messaging and publications.
- Oversee project management, production and governance of internal creative assets.
- Compile and distribute weekly recap emails to European countries’ team members.
- Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting.
- Must have journalistic or corporate writing experience with a strong emphasis in newspaper/magazine/online writing and reporting.
- Must have experience and appreciation of editorial style guides and be prepared to learn Associated Press style and adhere to its standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communications.
- High level of professionalism and integrity; strong ethical standards, and work ethic.
- Must have project management experience.
- High level of attention to detail and process.
- Experience in graphic design preferred, but not essential.
- A second European language, French, German or Spanish would be an asset, but not essential.
