Nursery Assistant – Harlow & Surrounding Areas

Are you a passionate and caring Nursery Assistant looking for work in Harlow or the surrounding areas? We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Nursery Assistant to support fantastic early years settings across Harlow.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Nursery Assistant who is enthusiastic about supporting young children in their early development and making a real difference every day. The Role – Nursery Assistant

As a Nursery Assistant, you will:

  • Support children aged 0–5 in their learning and development


  • Assist with planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework


  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment


  • Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development


  • Work closely with nursery staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for children


  • Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times


    Qualifications & Experience

    To be considered for this Nursery Assistant position, you should have:

    • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (or equivalent) – desirable


    • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting


    • Good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum


    • A passion for working with young children


    • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach


    • A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)


    • Strong communication and teamwork skills


      Unqualified candidates with relevant experience in childcare settings may also be considered.
