Within our Care in the Home division, we support adults living with spinal cord injury, acquired brain injury, and complex health needs to live fulfilling lives in the comfort of their own homes with dignity, choice, and independence.

We're currently looking for a Support Worker to join our dedicated team at our client's home in Longbridge (South Birmingham).

Due to occupational requirements, we can only accept female applicants for this position.

Meet the Client:

The client is a cheerful, sociable individual with a warm personality and a great sense of humour. He maintains strong relationships with his family and greatly enjoys spending time with them, both at home and during outings. Family connection plays an important role in his overall wellbeing.

He is an enthusiastic Aston Villa supporter and enjoys following football. In his leisure time, he likes watching films and listening to music, which provide relaxation and enjoyment. He also benefits from regular exercise and enjoys attending the gym located within the care village where he lives, supporting both his physical and emotional wellbeing.

When You'll Be Working:

  • Morning shifts (10am2pm)
  • Evening shifts (7:30pm8:30pm)
  • Must be willing to work weekends
  • Part-time hours available
  • All shifts are worked as a double-up to support the client

What You'll Be Doing:

You'll be supporting our male client who lives with a spinal cord injury to live as independently and comfortably as possible in his own home.

This includes:

  • Personal care delivered with dignity and respect
  • Medication support
  • Safe moving and handling
  • Encouraging independence and supporting daily routines
  • Providing companionship and meaningful engagement

Every aspect of care is tailored around him his preferences, his routines, and his goals. Your role is not just to assist, but to empower.

No previous experience? No problem. We provide full specialist training, shadow shifts, and ongoing support to ensure you feel confident and valued in your role.

What You'll Have:

What to Look Forward To:
