Summary
Engage Talent Partners are working with our client to source and recruit for a Sales Coordinator, based in Aberdeen.
Our oil and gas client is an established company and going through exceptional growth therefore an exciting time to join. You will join a friendly sales team and be key in managing the relationships of key clients and liaising with engineering and the wider business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage customer enquiries, record requirements, and oversee the full quotation process from cost estimation to submission and follow-up to maximise conversion rates.
• Act as the main contact for assigned accounts and territories, supporting sales teams and business partners.
• Coordinate with production and engineering to deliver accurate proposals and fulfil orders.
• Contribute to forecasting, management reporting, and performance tracking of enquiries and quotations.
• Administer the sales enquiry process, ensuring compliance with company policies, equal opportunities, and environmental responsibilities.
• Represent and promote the company through customer visits, exhibitions, and networking
• Support exhibition planning and organisation.
• Conduct market and competitor research to inform marketing strategies.
You will be a proactive self-starter with proven experience in complex quoting and supporting proposal processes. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will liaise regularly with clients and cross-functional teams. Experience in technical sales or a manufacturing environment is advantageous; however, candidates from other industries with strong quoting and coordination experience will also be considered. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment alongside engineers and sales teams.
