Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: London

Type: Full time, Permanent

Working hours: alternating weeks

Week 1 Monday to Sunday 06:00-14:00 &

Week 2 Monday to Friday 13:50-21:50

Salary: circa £68,000 per annum (inclusive of mandatory overtime)

The Company:

We are recruiting a London-based Maintenance Engineer for a critical infrastructure site. will be responsible for executing comprehensive planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to the highest standards, ensuring all site assets operate at peak efficiency. This proactive role involves monitoring process equipment, installing upgrades, and modifying components to prevent downtime and optimise performance. Beyond routine upkeep, you will provide critical technical support during breakdowns and collaborate with management to maintain inventory accuracy. Additionally, you will play a key role in operational safety and compliance by assisting with Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and the implementation of safe working systems.

Requirements:

  • Several years experience working within an industrial environment.
  • Must have completed an onsite apprenticeship or hold a level 3 NVQ/HNC/HND or above in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience working with conveyors.
  • Must be a team player and willing to fit in and learn from the established engineersonsite.
  • Be ambitious, enthusiastic and thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a "can do" attitude to work.
