Assistant Admin Manager | Stevenage, Hertfordshire | Full Time, Monday to Friday, 35-hour week (10:00 am – 6:00 pm) | £29,500 – £31,000 (DOE)

They are now seeking an organised, proactive, and highly reliable Assistant Admin Manager to join their fast-paced and friendly office. This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same, ideally suited to a professional who thrives under pressure and possesses exceptional interpersonal skills.

• Previous credit control or basic finance administration experience (advantageous)

What will your role look like?
• Lead day-to-day administrative functions and act as the key decision-maker in the Admin Manager’s absence
• Mentor, motivate and support team members, including onboarding and developing new starters
• Review, streamline and implement efficient office processes to improve workflow
• Manage complex client enquiries and resolve issues professionally
• Maintain high standards of written communication and email correspondence
• Oversee accurate data entry and produce weekly performance reports, identifying trends and bottlenecks
• Collaborate cross-functionally to balance workloads and anticipate client needs
• Maintain a 100% “right first time” standard for data entry and record keeping
• Ensure client enquiries are acknowledged or resolved within agreed SLAs
• Contribute to strong team morale and overall productivity
