An Engineering Technician vacancy has arisen within our fast-growing company based at our site in Louth, Lincolnshire. This is an
exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to join our Engineering team.
LOCATION: Based at Louth with some travel to Skegness
SALARY: £30,000 - £36,000 p.a. (depending on skills and experience)
JOB TYPE: Full-time

HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday – rotating shifts - 6:00am – 2:30pm / 2.00pm – 10:30pm
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for innovation and technical excellence? We are looking for an Engineering
Technician to join our dynamic team and play a key role in maintaining and improving our operational performance.
As an Engineering Technician, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance, fault-finding, and engineering
solutions across mechanical and electrical disciplines. This is a diverse role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced
environment, enjoys working collaboratively and is committed to continuous improvement. Occasional travel between company sites is
necessary, therefore a full driving licence is required.
Key Duties:
* Apply learning from in house training & instruction to seek to be competent in mechanical and electrical engineering
principles.
* Apply learning from in house training & instruction to become aware of the dangers associated with electrical installations,
boiler plant, pneumatic installations and process operations.
* Apply learning from in house training & instruction to become competent to work on electrical installations, boiler plant,
pneumatic installations and process operations.
* Understand the need for compliance with all legislative and company health and safety standards and requirements.
* Support and contribute to the delivery of business objectives and operational requirements.
* Carry out work under supervision as instructed by lead and shift engineers. Work includes but is not limited to reactive
maintenance, Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), and project-related tasks.
* Collaborate effectively with key internal stakeholders to support the achievement of operational targets and business needs.
* Attend any training courses identified which will underpin and enhance the above learning.
Essential:
* Assist in performing planned and reactive maintenance on all machinery and site infrastructure.
* Accurately log all maintenance activities in the Maintenance Management System (MMS).
* Assist in the diagnosis and repair of faults.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to operational efficiency.
* Understand the need to collaborate closely with operations and production teams to minimize equipment downtime.
* Support maintenance work, ensuring it is carried out safely and in compliance with company policies, industry regulations and
health & safety requirements.
* Assist with root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
Desirable:
* Familiarity with IFS Management System
* Proven experience in electrical engineering
