Gate Operative / Delivery Coordinator – Key Responsibilities
Manage the opening and closing of the site gate.
Direct delivery drivers to the correct on-site locations.
Communicate delivery details with relevant site team members.
Marshal site vehicles safely when required.
Accurately record all deliveries on the provided spreadsheet, including weight, vehicle registration number, date, and time.
Liaise with the Site Foreman and Gangers as required to support smooth site operations.
Wear the correct PPE at all times in line with site safety regulations.
Maintain a friendly, professional, and helpful approach when speaking with members of the public enquiring about the works.
