Accessible Caring Transport is currently seeking a caring, reliable, and professional individual to join our team as Passenger Assistant. You will be supporting our school transport and community care services as and when cover is needed.
This is a rewarding role supporting elderly passengers, children, and individuals with additional needs to travel safely and comfortably to and from their destinations.
The Role:
As a Passenger Assistant, you will work closely with our Drivers to:
Support passengers while boarding, travelling, and alighting from the vehicle
Ensure passengers are never left unattended during their journey
Providing assistance to elderly and disabled passengers with care and dignity
You will be required to:
Complete daily journey paperwork accurately
Report any incidents or concerns appropriately
Assist with cleaning vehicles between journeys in line with hygiene regulations
Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism at all times
Who are we looking for:
A caring, patient, and someone with a compassionate nature
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Reliability and punctuality
Ability to remain calm in challenging situations
Willingness to undertake training as required
Flexibility to support contingency services when needed
Experience working with children, elderly passengers, or individuals with additional needs is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
