Salary
Starts at £15.50 but is negotiable depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on trailers to ensure safety and compliance.
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
- Execute welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize repair processes.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company standards and regulations.
- Provide exceptional service to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Will be on call a week at a time, every few weeks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Trailer Technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and electrical experience.
- Proficiency in welding, fabrication, and use of hand/power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
