This is an opportunity to step into a structured, leadership-focused engineering role within the lift and vertical transport sector no prior lift industry experience required. Full technical training will be provided.

If you’ve led teams, planned technical tasks, managed safety, coordinated contractors, or delivered operational outputs to tight timelines your skills are directly transferable.

The Role
As a Repair Manager, you will work alongside the National Repairs Manager to coordinate and deliver lift repair projects safely, efficiently and profitably.

You will engage with:
- Engineers and field technicians
- Subcontractors
- Customers and consultants
- Internal support teams

This is an entry-level role into the lift industry with clear progression routes into senior management.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Planning and coordinating repair works to meet safety, time and budget requirements
- Conducting professional site surveys (technical training provided)
- Managing subcontractors and engineering teams
- Producing technical reports and documentation
- Liaising with clients to understand and deliver against their requirements
- Ensuring projects achieve commercial margins while maintaining high customer satisfaction
- Working collaboratively across departments to deliver results
Ideal Military Backgrounds

This role would suit veterans from:
- REME / RAF Engineering / Royal Engineers / Royal Navy Engineering Branch
- Technical SNCOs or JNCOs with supervisory experience
- Logistics or engineering planners
- Equipment support or maintenance managers
- Individuals used to co-ordinating multiple moving parts under pressure

What They Are Looking For
- Proven leadership experience with a strong safety mindset
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Attention to detail and disciplined approach to task completion
- Confidence engaging with stakeholders and senior personnel
- Ability to write clear technical reports and documentation
- IT literacy (MS Office 365 – Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- CRM system experience advantageous

You do not need prior lift industry experience; technical product training will be provided.
