Trainee Architectural Technician – AutoCAD / Architectural Technology / Construction

Location: Northamptonshire
Salary: £25,000 – £26,000

This growing rural architectural practice is seeking a Trainee Architectural Technician to support its expanding workload across the residential, commercial and mixed‑use sectors. The practice has experienced significant growth since 2021 and has built a strong reputation for delivering high‑quality technical design, planning drawings, and detailed construction information. Joining a small but ambitious team will give you hands‑on exposure across all RIBA stages, helping you develop your skills in AutoCAD, technical detailing, planning applications, building regulations, and project coordination.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to progress their career as an Architectural Technician, Junior Technician, or Architectural Assistant (Technician route).

Support senior staff in delivering projects through all RIBA stages
Assist with interpreting client requirements and developing design concepts
Attend site visits with senior team members to assess existing conditions
