The College is a major provider of Social Care and Healthcare apprenticeships and is proud to be working with a range of leading employers across the North East and beyond, including ten NHS Trusts and many residential care establishments training some of the country’s most talented Apprentices.
Due to our continued growth, we are now seeking to appoint an able and well-qualified individual with extensive experience of working or training in Healthcare settings.
Is this for you?
• Do you have a background in healthcare?
• Do you have a passion for improving the quality-of-care patients/service users receive?
• Are you an established Assessor/Tutor looking to develop your skills and build upon your opportunities within the industry or are you willing to work towards a relevant teaching and assessing qualification?
• Would you like to embark on a career in sharing your knowledge and skills with others, supporting apprentices through their learning journey, guiding them to success within their careers as well as their personal aspirations?
• Do you have good communication skills and a passion for training others within healthcare settings?
What’s in it for you?

This is a permanent role. Consideration will be given to those wishing to work full time (35 hours per week) and on a part time basis. Starting salary will depend upon an individual’s level of experience and the role is predominantly home based, with travel to employers and occasional travel to the college campus in Consett. As a result, the use of your own transport, a current valid driving license and business insurance is essential.
The College is positively committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children, young people and vulnerable adults who attend its education and training provision. All staff are expected to share this commitment. The person appointed will be required to obtain a satisfactory DBS Enhanced Disclosure.
