Crynodeb
Purpose of the position:
The job involves a variety of duties around the site, including maintenance of general buildings, car parks and on occasion picking up/delivering goods including taking company cars for service/repair etc.
You would also be required to support the following departments:
• Fitting;
• Welding;
• Heat Exchanger;
• Service;
• Machine shop
Experience or qualifications in these areas are not essential but would be helpful.
This position would suit someone who is confident with and enjoys working with tools.
Key Duties
• To maintain the site & buildings, This will involve general maintenance, emptying bins, painting, grass and hedge cutting among other duties.
• To aid in the completion of the refurbishment or build of process and packaging equipment which may involve site work when dismantling and re-assembly of equipment as required;
• To ensure that all work is carried out safely and complies with all regulations including but not limited to CDM regulations, Health and Safety at Work Acts etc;
• To ensure that agreed procedures are followed at all times;
• To play an active part in the development, promotion and growth of all divisions of Moody Direct.

• Able to operate a fork truck;
• Able to operate a variety of hand tools and machinery;
• To develop technical knowledge within the industries in which we operate;

Training:
• Full training will be given to cover all aspects of the work as required.
PPE:
• All necessary Personal Protective Clothing and Safety Equipment will be provided and you are expected to take care in their use and cleaning of these items.
Formal Qualifications
• Driving Licence – essential to the position;
• Fork Truck Licence – essential to the position.
In addition, the Workshop/Site Operative must be prepared to undertake any reasonable requests made to meet the business needs of the company.
On occasion you may be required to attend Customer sites around the UK, Ireland and possibly in mainland Europe. This may necessitate antisocial hours, weekend working, overtime and overnight stays in hotels.
