About the Direct Payment Holder J is an active 18 year old, who has a keen interest in hiking, sightseeing, video games and coin collecting.
J has a great personality and sense of humour and enjoys engaging in conversation particularly when there is a common interest. J has a diagnosis of Autism and ADHD.
Hours and rate of pay hours 3 hours per week, 1 block session on either a Monday or Tuesday during the day time. This is for a 12 week period. Rate of pay - £18.00 per hour.

Location Cambridge, CB4 area
DBS/Checks Confirmation of DBS check
Right to Work and references will be needed.
What you would be doing… Supporting J to gain independence by accessing the community to go to the shops, visit a coffee shop or café/restaurant. To support J in learning new recipes, from creating a shopping list, completing a food shop, preparing ingredients, cooking and including kitchen safety when using utensils and appliances, whilst also working on J’s fear of heat a fire.
Required skills and experience It’s important that you are reliable and have good timekeeping, confident and professional, with a bubbly personality and a good sense of humour, as well as a kind and caring nature. You should also be active, energetic, and happy to get involved in the things J enjoys.
