Job Title: Accounts Administrator
Location: Durham Road, Birtley, Chester le Street, DH3 2QX
Hours: Full time, 8:00–17:00
Salary: £13 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
Contract: 3 month fixed term
The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an Accounts Administrator to support its busy on site logistics and supply chain environment.
This role is ideal for someone who is accurate, organised, and comfortable handling high volume data entry. An immediate start is available.
Key Responsibilities
The Accounts Administrator will be responsible for providing day to day administrative and accounting support, including:
• High volume input of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) data
• Managing incoming phone calls and providing administrative assistance related to on site shortage issues
• Supporting general office and warehouse administration as required
Essential Skills & Experience
As Accounts Administrator, you will have the following:
• Good communication skills
• Confident using basic PC tools, including Excel and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in an administrative environment
Desirable Skills
• Experience in accounting support, logistics, or import/export operations
• Previous exposure to SAP or other ERP systems would be highly beneficial
• Strong Excel skills
