The role of a Domestic is more than just a job, it makes a huge difference to the wellbeing of our residents, and you’ll be a welcomed friendly face, building relationships with residents and the wider staff team. Making sure residents have a clean and homely environment gives them a lovely place to live and helps to keep residents safe from illnesses.
We are looking for someone who is motivated and proactive. You will be responsible for organising and completing all cleaning duties in the home.
Knowledge of COSHH and infection control is desirable, but full training will be given.

Applethwaite Green Residential Home is a 28 bedded care home for older adults living with dementia, sensory impairment, and physical disabilities. Applethwaite Green is divided into 3 sections named after places in the lakes that all contain separate dining/communal areas. We have a hair dressing room and a large day centre which we use for coffee mornings and activities. We encourage a culture of support and collaboration amongst our team to provide the best care for the individuals in our service.
