Summary
Chef de Cuisine – Boutique Beachside Café (Full-Time)
We are a small, independent beachside café with a strong reputation for quality food and a loyal local following. We are now looking for an experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead our kitchen on a full-time basis as we move into the season ahead.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for a chef who values well-run services, good ingredients, and a balanced working week. The kitchen operates primarily during daytime hours, with weekend evening services as part of seasonal trade.
THE ROLE:
Lead day-to-day kitchen operations in a compact, professional kitchen
Deliver consistent, well-executed food and presentation
Contribute to menu development within the style and scale of the café
Manage ordering, stock control, and food safety standards
Work closely with front-of-house to ensure smooth, calm service
ABOUT YOU:
Experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Head Chef, or strong Senior Sous in a similar setting
Organised, calm, and comfortable working in a small team
Passionate about quality food and seasonal produce
Professional, reliable, and enjoys taking ownership of the kitchen
What we offer:
Full-time role with a structured, mostly daytime working pattern
A supportive, independent environment
A loyal customer base and established local reputation
Seasonal peaks with a measured approach to evenings
A role that allows for better work–life balance than traditional restaurant kitchens
Salary: Competitive dependent on experience
If you’re a chef looking for stability, quality, and a more balanced rhythm to the working week, we’d love to hear from you.
Apply with your CV and a brief note about your experience.
