Hours of work: 9am – 3.30pm, 6.5 hours per week, both Monday and Friday, plus some Saturdays in August.
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our fantastic team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our holiday premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service. Experience in cleaning, hospitality, or hotel cleaning is highly desirable. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring our environment remains welcoming, safe, and pristine for all holiday makers.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough cleaning of all areas of the holiday property, following our cleaning schedule.
Check carefully that all kitchenware, cupboards, appliances, and furniture are thoroughly cleaned, free from any debris and ready for guest arrivals.
Support with ensuring all communal spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness
Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper products, and cleaning materials as needed
Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals efficiently and responsibly
Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
Be aware of any specific requests for guest arrivals and to ensure the property has been suitably equipped or adapted.
Take personal responsibility for your designated properties and to perform all functions in line with the expectations of a 5* facility.
To collectively work with others and be a team player to ensure that our holiday properties are ready for guests.
Requirements
Previous experience in hotel cleaning, hospitality, or janitorial roles is preferred
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods
Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous
