We support children and young people with complex learning needs, including autism and communication difficulties. This isn't just a "classroom job"-it's an opportunity to be a mentor, a guide, and a key figure in a student's journey toward independence.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you won't just be sitting behind a desk. You will be on the front lines of education, providing tailored support to students who see the world differently.

  • Individualised Support: Work 1-on-1 or in small groups to help students engage with the curriculum.

  • Holistic Care: Support students' emotional and social development, helping them build confidence and life skills.

  • Collaborative Environment: Work alongside specialised teachers, therapists, and residential staff to provide a seamless support network.

  • Active Participation: Join in on outdoor learning, life-skills trips, and creative therapies.

What We Are Looking For

You don't necessarily need years of experience in a SEN (Special Educational Needs) setting-what matters most is your attitude.

  • Resilience: The ability to stay calm and positive during challenging moments.

  • Communication: A knack for connecting with people, even those who may be non-verbal.

  • Adaptability: No two days are the same here; you need to be able to think on your feet.

  • Heart: A genuine desire to improve the lives of young people with complex needs.
