Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable KS4 Science Tutor (Weekend) to join our team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality tuition in Biology, Chemistry and Physics in line with the UK National Curriculum, supporting students in preparation for GCSE examinations (AQA, Edexcel and OCR). The role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, identifying gaps in understanding and implementing targeted interventions to raise attainment. You will be expected to differentiate learning to support mixed-ability groups, including students with SEND and EAL, provide one-to-one and small group support, develop effective revision resources, and promote strong exam technique and scientific enquiry skills. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent subject knowledge, strong classroom management, effective communication skills, and a commitment to creating a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
