We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at Quantum Care. In this role, you will oversee kitchen operations, ensuring the preparation of nutritious and flavoursome meals tailored to the dietary needs of our residents. Your leadership will be essential in maintaining exceptional standards of food quality and service.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage all kitchen operations, ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Design and implement menus that meet residents’ nutritional requirements while accommodating dietary restrictions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop kitchen staff to deliver efficient and high-quality food preparation and service.
• Maintain accurate inventory control and manage food costs effectively.
• Ensure the kitchen remains clean, organised, and safe at all times.
• Collaborate closely with care staff to understand residents’ preferences and dietary needs.
• Monitor food quality and presentation to uphold our high standards.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a comparable culinary leadership role.
• Strong culinary expertise with a passion for preparing nutritious meals.
• Excellent leadership skills with a track record of managing and motivating teams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best kitchen practises.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments to support resident care.
