We have an opportunity available for a Recovery Support Workers to join our Lancashire Supported Living Rehabilitation Service, Inspiring Minds, based in Burnley, BB11 1UG.

The service contains 9 beds and will provide intermediate short term functional rehabilitation support to adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities and individuals on the autistic spectrum and is designed to be a personalised, interactive and collaborative process, reflecting the whole person. The service enables individuals to maximise their potential to live a full and active life within their family, social networks, education/training and the workplace where appropriate, in the context of their mental health and promote recovery.

Salary: £12.60 per hour
Hours: 28 or 35 hours working 4/5 days a week, various shifts between 8am-10pm including some weekends

Responsibilities

Look no further than working with us here at Making Space! As a Support Worker in Supported Living you'll be supporting adults on a person-centered basis to live independently, helping them move towards independent accommodation.

From supporting with daily living skills, to accessing the community and domestic and cooking tasks, your days will be varied, and no two days will be the same. That's why we're looking for someone who can think on their feet and truly understand our clients' needs with a big smile that lights up our service users' faces.

Qualifications
We are looking for people who have worked in a mental health setting / have personal experience and in particular supporting people who self harm.

On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.
