Pay rate: £14.80 per hour Monday – Friday
Due to increase in business and success our School and Government Catering division are now recruiting for Catering staff to join their busy team.
With already over 300 staff working in the East London Borough’s, we are expanding our portfolio where we have won new contracts in the Waltham Forest area.
All workers require to have an enhanced DBS (or willing to undertake one) covering the Children and Adults barred listing. DBS certificates on the update service will be accepted.
All applicants will require to have experience in Catering and be able to follow instructions taking lead from the Chef.
Hours range typically from 2–3-hour shifts 11-14 / 12-14.
Although you will be working as part of a team there will also be times that you will be allocated areas in the building to clean on your own including offices, class rooms, halls, corridors, kitchens, communal and toilets areas, ensuring all areas are left hygienic and cleaned to a high standard.
Duties include:
Chopping / Cutting / Prepping
Washing up (Plates and Cutlery
May assist with serving food
Sweeping and Moping
Loading and unloading the dishwasher
Emptying bin's
Ensuring areas are hygienic for same-day or next-day use
Key tasks and responsibilities are intended as a guide to the range and level of work expected. This is not an exhaustive list, and you may be required to undertake other reasonable duties as required.
Mandatory Uniform consists of:
• Black Polo Shirt
• Black Trousers
• Black Safety (Steel Toe Capped) Boots
