Required March 2026 - to 20th July 2026 (fixed term contract)
Part time 16.25 hours per week- 3 hours 15 minutes each day (to include lunchtime cover)
Level 3 Grade 5 (£25,989 - £27,254 FTE) pro rata term time only

About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant supporting pupils with SEN and additional needs, you will be a vital part of our team, helping children overcome barriers to learning and thrive both academically and personally. Your role will include:
• Supporting pupils with communication difficulties and other additional needs
• Helping to deliver personalised learning activities tailored to individual needs
• Working closely with teachers and the SEN team to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Encouraging resilience, independence, and confidence in our pupils
• Contributing to the school’s high standards of behaviour and achievement

About You
We are looking for someone who:
• Has a genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their learning journeys
• Is patient, caring, and enthusiastic, with a positive and proactive attitude
• Holds a Level 3 qualification (NVQ or equivalent) in supporting teaching and learning
• Has experience working with children with additional needs, including communication challenges
• Understands the primary curriculum and can adapt support to meet diverse pupil needs
• Works well as part of a team and values collaboration
• Has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
• Holds high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour
