Healthcare Assistant – £12.60 per hour – Day Shifts – Walton-on-Thames
This purpose-built, boutique-style care home maintains high standards of care and professionalism throughout the home. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide hands-on support to residents while working alongside the nursing team to ensure daily routines and care needs are met safely and consistently.
Before You Apply
- A Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification (or above) is required.
- Recent experience as a Healthcare Assistant in a care home is essential.
- Due to the home’s location, you must be able to drive.

What You’ll Need
- Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification (or above)
- Experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in a care home
- Confidence delivering personal care independently
- Understanding of safeguarding and person-centred care
What You’ll Do
- Deliver personal care, including mobility, continence, and hygiene support
- Assist residents with daily routines, meals, and hydration
- Monitor residents’ wellbeing and report any changes to the nurse in charge
- Maintain accurate care records and handovers
- Support a safe, clean, and organised environment
- Assist with safe medication administration if trained
