Nursery Practitioner (Level 2/3) – Up to £28,000
The nursery hums with activity as children move between rooms and the outdoor area. You will be hands-on in care and learning, supporting children’s development, keeping accurate observations, and working with colleagues to ensure each day runs smoothly and provides a new adventure and opportunity to learn.
Before You Apply
- This role requires a full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Recent nursery or early years experience is essential.
- Applicants must be confident working independently and supporting daily room routines.
Key Job Details
- Salary up to £28,000 per year, depending on experience
- Full-time, 40 hours per week, across 4 or 5 days

What You’ll Need
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Proven nursery or early years’ experience
- Understanding of EYFS framework and safeguarding
- Confidence delivering care and learning independently
What You’ll Do
- Deliver hands-on care and support to children in line with EYFS principles
- Observe, assess, and record children’s development accurately
- Plan and adapt activities according to children’s interests and needs
- Maintain safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children’s progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to organise daily activities and room setup
