About Weydon Multi Academy Trust
Weydon MAT is an innovative high performing Trust currently made up of thirteen schools: five Special Need schools; six secondaries and 2 primary schools. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the central WMAT Finance Team as a Finance Assistant. Ideally this post will be 36 hours / 52 weeks a year and is to support the financial accounting function for schools within the Trust. The successful candidate will be working alongside the existing finance team and schools within the Trust to provide excellent financial support for purchase ordering and invoice processing.
We are looking for someone with excellent financial acumen, a pro-active team worker with outstanding inter-personal skills. Person Specification:
Essential:
Evidence of good team working skills
Evidence of ability to work to monthly deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and able to produce work at a high level of accuracy
Ability to prioritise workload
Ability to liaise positively with staff, students and parents/carers and be customer focussed with a professional and friendly manner
Desirable:
Strong ICT skills and specifically Microsoft Excel We offer the following benefits:
