Hours: 5 hours 50mins per week, Term Time, 38 weeks a year.
1hour 10 minutes at lunchtime (as required) - Monday to Friday
Start Date: 1st June 2026
Applications are invited for a midday supervisor.
The successful candidate will be:
● A calm and caring person who enjoys working with children
● Flexible, hardworking and enthusiastic
● Have high expectations for the behaviour and care of all pupils
● Have good communication skills
● Be reliable and punctual
● Be willing to undertake relevant training when required
The post will involve supervising children in the dinner hall, cleaning up after dinner time. General supervision of play and supporting of their needs on the playground.
This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
This salary is subject to the Living Wage supplement which from 1st April 2026 brings pay rates up to £13.45 per hour and is reviewed each year. Cardiff Council reserves the right to make any changes to, or removal of, the Living Wage supplement.
