Crynodeb

The Best Connection is looking for hardworking and reliable Recycling Operatives to join our client in Chesterfield on a long-term, full-time basis. This is a physically active role in a recycling environment with the opportunity for training and a permanent position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Sort and process recyclable materials on a picking line or in designated bays.

  • Remove non-conforming or unsuitable items from materials to maintain quality.

  • Assist with loading and unloading materials as required.

  • Maintain a clean, tidy and safe work area, including general house-keeping duties.

  • Follow all site health and safety procedures and instructions from supervisors.

Schedule and location

  • Location: Chesterfield.​

  • Days: Monday to Friday.​

  • Hours: Day shifts (e.g. 06:30-16:30 or similar, confirmed at interview).

Requirements

  • Able to work Monday to Friday on fixed day shifts.​

  • Good physical fitness for manual work, lifting and standing for long periods.

  • Reliable team player with a positive, can-do attitude.​

  • Previous experience in recycling, waste, warehouse or production is an advantage but not essential
